How much space do you need?

12 ft X 8ft minimum

How is it best to time things?

If you want a background act, schedule the sets at the same time as buffets, drinks or canapés. To fill the dance floor, avoid placing sets straight after eating or at the same time as a buffet. Dance floors are always better once people have had a few drinks too!

Can I pick the bands playlist?

We have a list of songs that we play and are always happy to share that with you. However we do have several tried and tested set lists and always read the crowd on the night.

Where will you travel to?

We perform throughout the UK and internationally.

Can I see you play live?

Yes! we sometimes play public shows and festivals. Get in touch to see if we have anything coming up!

Will you learn our special song?

Yes, we need three months notice for this.

Is the video on your website a true reflection of the band?

Yes!

How do I book you?

Are you able to DJ in between sets?

Yes, we have a manned laptop DJ service.

Can we make DJ requests in advance to my event?

Yes, why don’t you make a spotify playlist and send us a link? that way you can tailor pick every song!

Can we use your sound system for speeches?

Yes, however if this means that you need us to arrive earlier, there will be an early arrival fee.

What equipment do you use?

We use top of the range equipment. From Gibson guitars, Neumann mics or Mackie PA.

Do you have lights?

Yes we have a small four par can rig.

How long do you play for?

2 X 45 minutes or 2 X 60 minutes

What time do you start and finish?

We are flexible, however our standard rate would cover a 6pm - midnight set, or a day time gig of an equivilent 6 hours. We can work for a longer for an additional charge.

How long do you take to set up?

An hour and a half, from arrival - ready to play the first song.

Can I provisionally book you?

No.

What if the band split up before my event?

If a member has left, we will find a replacement. If the whole band has dissolved, Alive Network will find you a suitable replacement.

Can my sisters/bosses/daughters dog sing with your band?

Feel free to put them in touch with us and we’ll see what we can do! (especially if it’s a dog!)

What will the band wear?

We can dress smart or casually. Check out our videos/photos!

Does the band have PAT and PLI certificates?

Yes! We’re all covered!

How much does it cost to book the band?

This changes depending on the gig. Our rates start from £800

Can we see some previous client testimonials?

Do The Blue Jeans have any specific requirements?

We require a basic rider of soft drinks, snacks and a hot meal.

What type/size venues are you able to play at?

All sizes, however when the venue reaches a capacity over 250 we require the client to provide a sound system and sound engineer.

How loud will the band be?

We can go out as near-acoustic (lead vox and guitar amplified quietly) and can also be super loud! We’re very adaptable.

What is the band power requirement?

Basic house electric supply is fine. 1500 watts.

Do The Blue Jeans offer any additional services?

We offer a variety of options:

- Solo guitar arrangments for drinks receptions and ceremonies from Kris Solo

- Vintage duo were Anna and Kris play the best vintage songs with two part harmony, ukulele, banjo and guitar!

- Seven piece. Want a bigger impact? This is the standard four piece with added trumpet, trombone and piano!
